ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES NOW DUE – EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT OF 5%
The ECA(SA)’s National Financial Manager, Tembe Mwemba, says that annual membership fees are now due and invoices have been sent out to members. “To enable ECA(SA) to continue rendering high-quality services to its members, and to keep abreast of inflation, the ECA regretfully has had to increase the annual subscriptions by 5% with effect from 1 July 2018,” he says.
“The good news is that a 5% discount will be granted to those members whose payment is received on or before 31 August 2018. Members whose accounts are still outstanding on 1 September will not qualify for the discount,” explains Tembe.
Fees can be paid by cheque, direct deposit or internet payment to the following account: –

Kindly note that in terms of banking requirements, all cheques must be made out to ‘Electrical Contractors’ Association (South Africa)’ in full. Any cheques made out to ECA cannot be accepted.
Unfortunately, it has also been necessary to increase the labour levy payable by the employer in respect of each employee by 5%. Accordingly, such levy will now be R13.35 (inclusive of VAT) with effect from 1 July 2018.
