CALLI PIETERSE’S ESTIMATING AND TENDERING COURSE COMING UP AT THE ECA(SA)
In line with the ECA(SA)’s commitment to providing relevant training courses to our members in good standing, Calli Pieterse, past President of the ECA(SA) and Commercial Manager at Edison Power (Gauteng) will present a three-day Estimating and Tendering course at the ECA(SA) Highveld Region from 25 – 27 May 2018.
Calli has been presenting this course for 35 years and says, this Estimating and Tendering course is possibly his last.
This valuable course is for both ECA(SA) members and non-members and will cover:
- Estimating requirements;
- Tender forms and tender enquiries;
- Tender documents;
- Measuring and extracting quantities;
- Overhead structures;
- Applying profit and overheads to labour and material costs;
- Submission of tenders; and
- Contract control.
Please note: Only 30 candidates can be accommodated at this course, which will be the last course to be presented by Calli and it is recommended that bookings should be done as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The cost of the course is R4 000 for ECA(SA) members and R5 000 for non-members – which includes course material, lunch on all three days, as well as coffee, tea and refreshments.

Attendees must bring a calculator – please note that cell phone calculators may not be used.
Writing pads and pens will be supplied, along with training material.
Cellphones and electronic devices may not be used in the training facility and electronic devices must be switched off (not on silent mode) during class while the course is in progress.
