Tembe Mwemba, ECA(SA) National Finance Manager, says that even though the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all sectors of the economy, the ECA(SA) the annual subscription fee payable by members has not changed.

“The current membership fees will be applicable until 31 July 2022,” says Tembe and emphasised that the ECA(SA) will continue to render its high-quality service to its members during this difficult period.”

He advises that invoices have been issued and were sent electronically to all members in July. “The usual 5% discount will be granted to those members whose payment is received on or before 31 August 2021” he says, “however, members whose accounts are still outstanding on 1 September 2021 will not qualify for the early payment discount.”

Unfortunately, it has been necessary to increase the labour levy payable by the employer in respect of each employee by 5%. Accordingly, such levy will be R R15.91 (inclusive of VAT) with effect from 1 July 2021.

Members are advised that the ECA’s banking details are on the invoice and that payment should be made by EFT to this bank account. Any member who has not received his/her invoice for this year, should contact their local ECA office to update their contact details.

In all cases, when making payment, please quote your ECA account number and the name of your business. Without your account number, your account may not be correctly credited.
