A FAIR WAY TO SPEND THE DAY
The Walmer Country Club is this year’s venue for the ECA (SA) East/South Cape region’s 11th Annual Golf Day on 20 September – and what better way is there to combine work and play than to enjoy a round of golf with fellow electrical contractors, clients and colleagues? The ECA’s golf day is a great way to network and meet new people in the electrical industry. Lucas Bowles, Regional Director for the East/South Cape region, who plays social golf to enjoy a care free day out in the fresh air in the company of old friends, invites all golfers in the area to join the ECA(SA) on the fairways of the Walmer Country Club golf course.
With its thick coastal bush and tree-lined fairways, this course can be challenging – especially when the Windy City lives up to its name and the golfers have to take the notorious wind’s velocity into account. And the good news is that the greens are in excellent condition despite the drought in the Eastern Cape.
As always, there are a number of sponsorships available at R 1500 – 00 per green / tee.
Green fees are R2 200 – 00 per fourball which include a goodie bag, halfway house grab ’n go lunch, R 2000 – 00 cash prize for a hole in one on one of the short holes, drinks at sponsored holes and a prize-giving dinner. Great prizes are available with the compliments of our generous sponsors.
All the proceeds of the day will be donated to charities in Port Elizabeth.
