FREE WORKSHOP SABS ELECTRO-TECHNICAL SECTOR STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
Stakeholders are invited to attend a one-day SABS Electro-Technical Sector Stakeholder Workshop and site tour for 150 delegates, hosted by SABS in association with EE Publishers. The free-of-charge workshop will be held from 8am to 5 pm on Thursday, 30 August at the St George’s Hotel and Conference Centre Doornkloof, Pretoria.
The workshop will be followed by a tour of the SABS NETFA test facilities in Olifantsfontein with bus transport provided to SABS NETFA.
The aim of the workshop is to establish a platform for collaboration between SABS and the electro-technical sector with specific focus on building capacity for testing to meet the needs of the electro-technical industry.
Internationally renowned engineer and researcher, Dr Andrew Eriksson, former director of the CSIR National Electrical Engineering Research Institute, NEERI, who was involved in the establishment of the high-voltage test facilities at NETFA in the 1980s, and is now based in Zurich, Switzerland, will make the opening keynote presentation.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 150 attendees, and there is no cost to attend.
