COMPULSORY CLARIFICATION MEETING
A compulsory clarification meeting will be held at 11:00 on the 14th of December 2017 at King Shaka International Airport; Multi-Storey Office (MSO) Building, Level 3, Izulu Boardroom. Duration of the site meeting is approximately three (3) hours. Only potential bidders who park at the Shaded Parking Area will receive validation of parking.

CLOSING DATE
The bid closes on 8 January 2018 at 14h00.
All bid documents must be in printed format and sealed in a clearly marked envelope / package marked with Bidder’s name, Bid Number and Bid Description; and deposited in the bid box located at King Shaka International Airport, Airports Company South Africa, Reception, Ground Floor, MSO (Multi-Storey Office) Building.

LATE BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

OBJECTIVE CRITERIA
ACSA will give preference to African Owned Entities who will score a minimum total of 60 points on Price and BBEEE.

MANDATORY / ELIGIBLE CRITERIA
Bids that do not meet all the Mandatory / Eligible Criteria (Valid proof / certification must be provided) will be disqualified and will not be evaluated further.

2. Form of Offer and Acceptance – duly completed and signed.
3. Acceptance of ACSA Terms and Condition

Only Bidders that comply with the Mandatory / Eligibility Criteria will be evaluated during the next stage. (View Table 1 in the bid document for more detail on the Mandatory / Eligibility Criteria.)

EVALUATION
The Evaluation will be done in a two-stage approach.
Stage 1: The Functionality Evaluation will be evaluated on selected functionality (as detailed in the bid document.) Only bidders who score the minimum overall points of 60 out of a total of 100 points will qualify to be evaluated during the final stage.

The main categories under the Functionality stage is:
1. Technical Staff Qualifications and Experience
2. Transformation
3. Maintenance Plan
4. Locality / Proximity to the Airport

Stage 3: Price and B-BBEE. This phase is based on the 80 / 20 preferential point systems with 80 reflecting Price and 20 reflecting B-BBEE recognition.

To qualify for B-BBEE recognition, Airports Company South Africa SOC Ltd shall only award B-BBEE points that are claimed in line with PPPFA and its regulations.

NB: No tender will be awarded to any person / entity whose tax matters have not been declared by the South African Revenue Service to be in order.

Airports Company South Africa SOC Ltd reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, award to more than one bidder or not award this bid.
