AT LAST! STIPENDS FOR APPRENTICE TRAINING PAID TO KZN MEMBERS
Cheques totalling R59 331.94 were handed over to six ECA(SA) members in respect of learner stipends for apprentices who were trained under the CETA funding contract.
A special function was held at the ECA’s office in KwaZulu-Natal to present cheques to the six employers, with Lumie Naidoo, Regional Executive Chairperson, and Dave Alcock, Second Vice-President ECA(SA) in attendance.
Shantonette Naidoo, ECA(SA) Regional Director in KwaZulu-Natal thanked the members for undertaking to train apprentices and for being patient throughout the process of receiving payment from CETA.
Cheques went to City Electrical; DJ Electrical; Dees-Electrical; Wartburg Electrical; Midlands Electrical; and Ugesi Contractors.
