For the first time, a Safety File Assembly course will be presented to students at the ECA’s Highveld offices and also be live streamed to online students who wish to attend the course via Zoom on 25 June from 9am to 4pm.
Only 15 candidates can be accommodated in the face-to-face class, which will start at 9am and finish at 4pm with a one-hour break for lunch. Online students will have to register and will be given the link to attend once they have made payment. The course will be held in the Meadowdale classroom for face-to-face students.
The course will be presented by Nico Greyling, a member of the Electrical Contractors’ Association and owner of Nico Greyling Electrical. Nico has been in the electrical industry for over 40 years, and he has extensive experience in all aspects of site health and safety that he gained at Iscor (now Arcelor Mittal), Ash Resources Lethabo and Lafarge.

• Principles to have a well-rounded file
• Example documents
Bookings must be made and paid for no later than 24 June 2021.
The online course
The cost of the course is R900.00 for members and R1200.00 for non-members. Course material is included in the price and this will be emailed to all students.
The face-to-face course
The cost of the course is R1 100.00 for members and R1 400.00 for non-members. Course material is included in the price and lunch will be provided for face-to-face students.
