CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE (UNIT STANDARDS COURSE)

This comprehensive one-day course is for electricians who have passed the trade test and want to apply for registration as a Registered Person with the Department of Labour; and for electricians who already have a Wireman’s License, but who would like to do a refresher course to keep up with DoL’s requirements.

The course concentrates on the application of the applicable SANS Code of Practise and the EIR, in accordance with the prescribed requirements & considers many of the challenges and legal requirements the COC presents. ESTIMATING AND TENDERING COURSE

Estimating and tendering successfully is the key to survival in tough economic times and KwaZulu-Natal electrical contractors are invited to attend Calli Pieterse’s popular Estimating and Tendering course from 26 to 28 July at the ECA(SA) Durban Regional office. This valuable course will cover estimating requirements; tender forms and tender enquiries; measuring and extracting quantities and labour content; applying profits and overheads to labour and material costs; the submission of tenders; and contract control.

Calli Pieterse, General Manager at Edison Power KwaZulu-Natal has presented this valuable course for the ECA(SA) since 1983 and this will probably be the last time he’ll present this course in KwaZulu-Natal.
