MANAGING MISCONDUCT IN THE WORKPLACE – ECA ONE DAY SHORT COURSE

Most workplace labour challenges are MISCONDUCT related. The ECA Cape Town Training Facility will be presenting a step-by-step guide on how small to large companies can effectively manage transgressions in the workplace.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

HR Practitioners, IR Practitioners, Admin staff, small business owners, operational personnel, and anyone who has to manage discipline in the workplace.

OUTCOMES:

Employers will be able to take disciplinary action in a consistent, effective, decisive manner. Employees will know what is expected of them, and the consequence of their actions. Employers will be able to set up a disciplinary code of conduct or update their existing one. Employers will be equipped with the knowledge to have a credible defence at the Bargaining Council and or the CCMA.

In September 2024, the new Code of Good Practice: Dismissal replaced Schedule 8 of the LRA. We will explore the changes and one important potentially positive impact on your business.
