VACANCY – INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS OFFICER – KZN

To qualify, the required candidate must have a Degree in Labour Law or with Labour Law as a Major subject or a Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law, 5 years’ experience required.
The Candidate will specifically have to be skilled in the following areas:
(a) Assist in coordinating disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, consultations, and incapacity processes.
(b) Draft warning letters, notices, agreements, and other IR-related documentation.
(c) Support HR and management in maintaining sound employee relations and ensuring compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
(d) Liaise with management and employees on industrial relations matters and provide guidance on IR-related queries.
(e) Maintain accurate IR records, reports, and dispute resolution tracking systems.
(f) Assist with collective bargaining processes and the interpretation and implementation of Collective Agreements.
(g) Provide telephonic and face-to-face guidance on labour legislation, disciplinary procedures, and dispute resolution matters.
(h) Assist with CCMA and bargaining council matters where required.
