The ECA often receives calls for help from electricians who have lost their trade test certificates and don’t know where to turn to obtain a replacement. The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) is the quality council responsible for standards and qualifications for trades and occupations. One of the key responsibilities of the QCTO is to issue occupational and trade certificates to learners who have achieved these qualifications. If you need a copy of your trade test certificate there’s now a link on the QCTO website that will speed up the process: https://www.qcto.org.za/i-lost-my-trade-certificate-where-can-i-go
