South Africa’s current fuel and energy challenges have completely changed how industrial plants must operate. To balance these risks, workforce planning must move at the exact same pace as engineering planning.

In this fast-paced environment, having a flexible workforce is no longer just about cutting costs. It is the key to keeping the plant running. Historically, many industrial companies viewed Temporary Employment Services (TES) as a basic tap to turn general labour on and off. But when a maintenance window is measured in hours, organisations cannot afford to wait weeks for standard recruitment, paperwork, or basic safety training.

To keep production moving, the petrochemical industry needs pre-qualified, project-ready technical teams that can start immediately.
