Thursdon Duncan began his career in the electrical industry through his training with ECA(SA). His commitment to giving back what has given to him marks him as one of the go-to members of the association for those in need of advice, guidance, and information.
On 24 November 2023, Thursdon was awarded a certificate of long service, for his 26 years’ committed presence and service which has has positively contributed to the growth, sustenance and meaning of the association.
Thursdon was elected President of the association in late 2020 and served a term that ended in late 2023. Thursdon regularly makes himself available to the ECA’s Cape Town Training Centre, where he is highly regarded as a mentor, trainer, and invigilator of trainees.
