The Electrical Contractors Association of S.A. (ECA)(SA) has a full-time permanent position
available for a suitably qualified person in its Pretoria office.
The successful candidate should be available to commence work immediately and responsible for
planning and coordinating the training in the Pretoria Training Centre and elsewhere when
necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and sound administration.
- A minimum of 3 years of training office experience in a similar environment shall be an
advantage.
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email must be proven. - Familiarity with the Electrical Construction Operator (ELCONOP) job descriptions will be
advantageous.
Duties include:
- Organising practical and theoretical training for employees of the electrical contracting
industry and other industry private students or unemployed persons. - Managing all day-to-day activities within the training environment.
- Submission of reports and course documentation.
- Maintaining control, record keeping and safety standards in the training centre.
- Purchasing of materials and equipment for the training Centre.
- Keeping abreast of any new or amended Regulations about and affecting the industry.
