When others cause clients to complain, they inspire your clients to praise. They have turned your clients into raving fans and they are the reason why you have or you will secure your next order. The next order ensures that your business continues to be an economically useful contributor to society. Allow us to recognise this fact.
Let the hall at the Emperors Palace roar in appreciation of the achievements of your team. We must appreciate what is great about this country and your contribution to that which is praiseworthy.
The Award Ceremony is a wonderful occasion. We serve great laughter, good food, wonderful company and most importantly we dish out pride in abundance. I have been onstage for 10 years handing this Awards to winners. Everybody is nervous on the night. Some even would call me just to get an idea whether or not they are getting any award for the evening. Other than for the National Safety Award, I would not even know. Judges do their job and when you win, you should know that you have got what your job dictated that you should get. The results are so credible that I can be able to put my judging on a notice board for everyone to observe.
It is a contest. We do not dish out awards. You win them because you are the best. We are inviting you to enter because we believe that you have a team and projects that you have completed that can compete for the Top Awards. This is a personal invitation from the National Director of the ECA to the industry to enter and contest.
The final date to submit your entries is the 30 October 2024. Just like the final closing of a Tender, this date will not be moved. Give this assignment to one of your Senior Managers to ensure that a credible entry is submitted – An entry that does justice to your team, your project , your company and your client. If he needs assistance, the Regional Directors and my office will help. If there is a great project out there, we want it competing!
The Awards Ceremony takes place at the Emperor Palace in Gauteng on 22 November 2024. We will put together a wonderful show with the support of our sponsors and members. You deserve to be on the podium, you deserve to be recognised. See you on stage!!
