In his article about the common misconceptions around isolators, especially when discussing motors, ECA(SA) Technical Adviser, Anthony Schewitz, concludes that there are many ways one can achieve a safe result. “In my opinion, there are too many unnecessary arguments that involve the placement of isolators. Before choosing to enforce a blanket rule and potentially bad mouthing another contractor to a client, verify whether another method was not used,” he says.
