The Free State Region of the Electrical Contractors Association (SA) is looking for a Regional Director/Manager

Required by the Electrical Contractors’ Association (South Africa) to manage the affairs of the Free State region of the ECA(SA) effectively.
Responsibilities
The person shall be required to, amongst others, recruit and maintain members; assume responsibility for the financial planning and management of the region; provide advice and guidance on the various provisions of the NBCEI Collective Agreement; advice on labour relations matters, particularly retrenchments, dismissals, retirements etc; represent the Association on the bargaining council; maximise member participation in ECA initiatives, including meetings; implement training initiatives and maximize the training provisions to members of the Association; enable the resolution of technical and contractual queries by members as well as manage the staff in the region.
Requirements
The person shall have an HR/Administration or labour-related degree. Applying candidates shall in addition to the required qualification have demonstrable experience within a similar function (at least 5 years) and must be well-versed with labour law, particularly the LRA, 95 as amended, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, bargaining councils and collective bargaining.
The candidate must have own roadworthy car with a valid driver’s license.
The position offers a competitive salary and please note that the salary offered is negotiable and will be commensurate to experience, medical aid, pension fund and risk cover as well as travel reimbursement.
