ECA(SA)’s Bosveld Training Centre in Pretoria presents Block 3 of the Electrical Construction Operators (ELCONOP) Training this coming October-November 2023.
Building on ELCONOP 2, in which candidates are trained and tested in Installation of Wireways; Installation of Cables; and, Wiring of Premises, ELCONOP 3 is suitable for candidates with 12 months ELCONOP 2 experience.
ELCONOP 3 is a four-week training course comprised of three modules:
- Module 4 – Three-phase transformers
- Module 5 – Motors and starters
- Module 6 – Testing of installations
On completion of the course, the candidate will return to the employer for three months’ on-the-job exposure of the training, after which the candidate is required to undertake the ELCONOP 3 final test.
