The ECA Highveld will present a PV Solar course in a virtual classroom from 8:30am to 4pm on 2 and 3 August using Zoom. There’s no need to travel and no matter where you are in the country, as long as you have a stable Wi-Fi connection, you can attend this online course.
Subjects covered in the course:
- Battery
selection
Calculation of PV size - Wiring of PV systems
- Load estimation methodology
- Regulatory requirements
- Basic test report for PV systems
The cost of the course has been reduced to R1 500.00 for ECA members and R2 100.00 for non-members. This includes the course material, which will be emailed to all registered students on receipt of proof of payment.
The class will start at 8:30am and finish at
4pm with a one-hour break for lunch on both days.
To attend the course, you will need to register and submit proof of payment to
the ECA before 1 August 2023. Once the payment has been processed, the Zoom
link to the virtual classroom will be sent to you along with the course
material.

Zoom is free to download: https://zoom.us/download and is relatively easy to setup, however, you will be given clear guidelines on how to do this, if required.
