It was a hot, perfect day for the ECA Presidential Golf Day at Glen Vista Country Club in Johannesburg on 21 November 2023.
With all 18 holes generously sponsored and an equal number of booked four balls, the greens were a vision of the industry, honouring not only the electrical industry in South Africa, but its generosity in bringing its power to back this important charity event. As National Director, Mark Mfikoe noted at the prize giving, as an industry we are in important position to be of active benefit to those around us.
Sponsors went all out, with really impressive stands at their respective holes, and a spirit of true goodwill all round. Everyone made sure to provide extra value to share, to give , and to enjoy.
We thank all who attended, and those who made a special effort to be there as part of the ECA’s push to be of the National Good. And that spirit could be felt throughout the day.
The prize giving was nothing short of hi-energy, as prizes were given for the Eagle of the day, the long shot of the day, and not to mention the floating trophies.
