Students attending the module 0-3 course at the Bosveld Training Centre from 15 August to 9 September received hands-on practical training from ECA Associate members, CCG Cable Terminations.
CCG’s Jaco le Roux and John Whip presented a comprehensive theoretical course, after which the students were each given the opportunity to get their hands dirty and test their terminating skills in CCG’s bespoke training trailer. They wrote a test on the theory and were assessed on their terminating skills and will receive certificates from CCG.
More help for our training centre came from Swan Electrical and in September, Dirk du Preez handed over training equipment at a small ceremony.
We appreciate the helpful support from the many suppliers and ECA members as well as ECA staff who have donated materials, time, support and knowledge to assist the centre. Thanks to all of you – you know who you are!
